Starwood Becomes First U.S. Hotelier To Operate In Cuba
Starwood Hotels & Resorts debuted the first U.S.-operated hotel in Cuba, in Havana, earlier this week, and will soon rebrand another.
The former Gaviota 5th Avenue Hotel was rebranded as the The Four Points by Sheraton in an official inauguration Tuesday.
The hotel will remain open while it undergoes refurbishment over the next several months.
Starwood will also reflag the Gran Caribe Inglaterra Hotel in August under its Luxury Collection brand.
