East coast-based Stewart Travel Group has expanded their ownership team. Glen Kennedy and Jeni Mutch-Kennedy will now join founders Paula and Travel Stewart in what the company is calling a “transition to new ownership.”

Travis and Paula Stewart, will remain actively involved. Travis will continue as Director of Travel and both Paula and Travis will continue to bring their personal touch to select tours as hosts. Frances Gertsch, Trusted Senior Travel Advisor and Manager, Business Development and Talent, remains a cornerstone of the company’s leadership team.

“Stewart Travel Group has always been about creating meaningful travel experiences and building lasting relationships with our clients,” said Paula and Travis. “With Glen and Jeni joining our team, we are confident that the company’s future is brighter than ever. Together, we’ll blend experience and innovation to deliver exceptional service.”

The PEI-based travel agency has gained a reputation for quality travel experiences since opening in 2014. Specializing in hosted group travel, they’ve won numerous awards, including many Top Agency and Advisor awards in Canada (with The Travel Agent Next Door) and the 2023 Excellence in Customer Service Award” from the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce.

The new owners, Glen Kennedy, a Chartered Professional Accountant, and Jeni Mutch-Kennedy, a seasoned entrepreneur and former owner of Taylor’s Garage, bring a wealth of business acumen to Stewart Travel Group and will continue taking the people-centered approach the agency has become known for.

The Kennedys said they are “excited to team up with the company’s experienced leaders to further elevate Stewart Travel Group’s legacy of delivering unparalleled travel experiences to clients worldwide.”
