Cayman Islands Expand Destination Wedding Marketing
The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) has launched a new magazine to promote destinations weddings.
CIDOT has partnered with U.S.-based publisher Cloud Nine Omnimedia (CNO), founders of the high-end WedLuxe magazine, to launch Cayman Vows magazine, for couples and wedding planners. Print and digital editions are available in the United States and Canada.
The launch magazine features testimonials, including a story about the Grand Cayman nuptials of Grace and Trai Byers, stars of the Fox hit series “Empire.”
CIDOT said it is hoping the magazine will help “simplify the process of planning a destination wedding on the islands, “while highlighting the Cayman Islands’ own unmatched capabilities.” Stories will combine “the biggest names in the wedding planning industry with the Cayman Islands’ own distinguished event professionals and on-island providers to shine a light on the destination’s exceptional wedding and honeymoon offerings.”
