Curtain Bluff Unveils $13 Million Refresh

Deluxe room at Curtain Bluff

Luxury resort Curtain Bluff in Antigua completed this month the second and final phase of a $13 million renovation.

The project included a complete overhaul of the resort’s entrance, dining spaces, bar, lounge, reception area and meeting space, while Curtain Bluff’s rooms and suites were refurnished with bright new fabrics, furnishings, and furniture.

The property’s main restaurant, Tamarind Restaurant, offers a “redefined dining experience,” featuring a five-course menu including salads, locally caught fish, a selection of meats, and healthy options.

On the beach, new chaise lounges and sand chairs were added. Curtain Bluff also introduced a “Beach Concierge,” available to set up activities and watersports for guests, as well as place drink orders.

The resort, which was spared from Hurricane Irma, reopened Oct. 28, 2017 following a 6-month closure for the final phase of the renovation. Curtain Bluff has also increased its commission for travel agents to 15 percent.
