Journey Beyond has brought back its popular Become a Beyonder trade incentive program, and for the first time ever, travel advisors from North America are invited to participate.
Journey Beyond is the largest tour operator in Australia. The company is in a growth period, following the restructuring of its leadership team and the expansion of its products.
The 2027 Become a Beyonder trade incentive is offering spots on a complimentary bespoke “mega” FAM trip. In total, 14 advisors will be invited on an all-inclusive nine-day journey with experiences from Outback Spirit and the Indian Pacific rail company, departing in March 2027.
The winning advisors will receive complimentary airfare, premium accommodations in Perth and Adelaide, an overnight stay on Rottnest Island, a three-night bespoke Outback Spirit tour through Margaret River, a three-day epic rail journey on Indian Pacific, and more.
The Become a Beyonder incentive runs from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, 2026. To participate, advisors must book clients on Journey Beyond Rail, Outback Spirit, Vintage Rail Journeys, or Grand Pacific Tours for 2027 travel.
This year, there are more opportunities to win. In addition to the top six agencies from the Australia and New Zealand region earning a spot, Journey Beyond will also award one travel advisor from North America and one from Europe, selected by draw, with every Journey Beyond booking earning an entry.
The tour operator will also award three spots to the agencies with the highest year-on-year revenue growth across Rail, Outback Spirit, and Grand Pacific Touring; one spot, chosen at random, for an advisor who has completed all three campaign webinars (Rail, Outback Spirit and Grand Pacific Touring); and one spot for the agency with the most creative campaign activation. Finally, the tour operator will also select a “golden ticket” advisor, drawn at random from all eligible entries.
According to Journey Beyond, last year’s campaign drove a 40% year-over-year increase in sales.
“Our 2026 Beyonder campaign was an incredible success story,” said Alicia Triggs, executive general manager, sales and partnerships at Journey Beyond. “With 14 highly coveted spots up for grabs, we’re on the hunt for agents who go above and beyond for their clients in true Journey Beyond style … So dust off your creativity, sharpen your sales game, and get ready to Journey Beyond and earn your place on what will be another incredible mega [FAM].”
