Tech-forward travel platform kimkim has announced a new mobile app for travelers that was created to improve the trip management experience for its customized itineraries.
kimkim is a platform and supplier of tailor-made travel that operates both as a technology solutions provider and a DMC network. The tour operator specializes in personalized, locally crafted travel experiences.
Although the company has been active in the consumer space for a decade, its entry into the B2B space is a recent development. kimkim just launched its trade portal last November, that travel advisors can sign up for online. As part of the Q1 Wave Season incentive, kimkim announced a FAM trip giveaway that’s happening until the end of March.
The new mobile app is an itinerary tool designed for complex, multi-day FIT journeys, that provides travelers with a clear, day-by-day view of their itinerary—including accommodations, activities, transfers, tickets, map links, and emergency contacts. All necessary confirmations, tickets, and meeting details are stored in the app’s easy-to-navigate system.
The app is a tool to help travel advisors deliver seamless, customized trips while reducing day-of-travel friction for clients. Accessible both online and offline, it minimizes last-minute questions, allowing advisors to focus more on client relationships than on logistical follow-ups.
The kimkim mobile app is available now for iOS and Android devices.
“Our goal is to help advisors deliver a better trip experience for their clients. One where every detail is organized, accessible, and easy to navigate, so travelers can focus on the experience, and advisors can focus on their client relationships,” said Yenyi Fu, chief operating officer at kimkim.
For those who are interested in learning more, kimkim will be hosting an educational webinar on the app’s benefits on Feb. 26 at 10:00 a.m. PT that features a live demonstration and a Q&A session. Advisors can register at https://webinars.kimkim.com/travel-advisor-webinars.
“Advisors are increasingly focused on delivering highly personalized experiences efficiently,” Fu added. “This app allows advisors to present complex itineraries in a simple, intuitive format, helping travelers feel supported while freeing advisors to focus on relationships rather than logistics.”
