Teldar Travel has unveiled a new artificial intelligence feature that aims to help travel advisors create personalized trips, saving time and improving workflow without giving up control.
Teldar Travel is a B2B hotel booking platform with an inventory of 2 million accommodations worldwide. The company is a brand of Gekko Group and a subsidiary of the Accor Group.
The new A.I. feature is a copilot, dubbed “Aidy.” The tool allows advisors to enter key trip criteria—including destination, length of stay, number of travelers, accommodation type, and preferred travel style—and then generates tailored itinerary proposals that combine accommodations and activities based on those inputs.
Aidy is designed to speed up the trip design phase while leaving the final decisions in the hands of the advisor. When used as part of the Teldar Travel platform, the tool should decrease the amount of time spent designing tailor-made trips.
“Integrating Artificial Intelligence at Teldar Travel is done step by step, with a strong focus on listening and pragmatism,” said Matthieu Chevrier, chief digitalofficer, Teldar Travel by Gekko Group.
“Our goal is not to add AI for the sake of AI, but to focus on features that truly address travel advisors’ needs. With Aidy, we chose to start with simple, concrete use cases designed to save time and make trip creation easier, while leaving full control in the hands of agents. This is a first building block, which we will continue to develop based on feedback from the field,” said Chevrier.
