kimkim, the itinerary-building platform for bespoke travel, has announced a new advisory board and travel advisor initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the trade.
kimkim’s Travel Advisor Advisory Board was created to help the company better partner with the trade and strengthen relationships within the advisor community. The board comprises seven experienced advisors who will meet regularly with the company’s leadership in order to provide feedback and help guide kimkim’s advisor-facing strategy.
Specifically, the advisory board will contribute to decision-making for the platform’s features, offer insight to help improve travel advisor tools, and help kimkim collaborate with the travel advisor community.
“As our advisor program continues to grow, we didn’t want to build it in isolation,” said Yenyi Fu, COO at kimkim. “Rather than building for advisors, we’re committed to building alongside them. Their insight, experience, and day-to-day realities are what will shape how we evolve the platform.”
The seven advisory board members include: Lisa Rudolf, Courtyard Travel; Pam Wittmann, Evolution of Travel; Laurie Carruth, IntoMOTION Travel; Michelle Allen, Travel Magic; Wendy Dall, That Travel Lady; Silvia Garcia, Cartografia Travel; and Samantha LeBold, Find Your Why Travel.
kimkim has also unveiled a new initiative, “Built With Advisors, Designed for Growth.” This program is focused on delivering practical tools, education, and resources for travel advisors. As part of the initiative, kimkim is hosting a series of webinars with destination specialists, which will include a live Q&A session.
Travel advisors can see kimkim’s webinar schedule and register to attend online.
The advisory board has already helped the tour operator develop a travel advisor toolkit. In addition to kimkim’s travel advisor platform, the company now offers a curated suite of selling tools, operational resources, and client-facing materials to help them sell and manage custom travel.
“The Advisor Toolkit is incredibly practical. It’s the kind of resource you can immediately put to work in your business,” said Michelle Allen, owner, Travel Magic. “From qualifying clients to guiding destination decisions and handling objections, it brings structure and confidence to the custom trip planning process. It not only saves time, but helps me communicate my value more clearly and move clients toward booking with greater ease.”
