Whimstay Launches New Booking Platform for Travel Advisors

by Briana Bonfiglio  March 17, 2026

Whimstay, a vacation rental marketplace, has just launched an online platform that allows travel advisors to earn commissions on bookings for rentals typically found on sites like Vrbo and Airbnb.

The new Travel Agent Program features hundreds of thousands of properties in North America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe. After getting approval, advisors receive access to a dedicated platform that allows them to either book themselves for their client or send their client a trackable property link.

“Travel advisors are already helping clients find vacation homes every day, but historically there hasn’t been a clear way for them to earn commission on those bookings,” said Ben Jamshahi, founder and CEO of Whimstay. “We built this program so agents can access the same types of properties their clients are requesting and finally be compensated for the role they play in the booking process.”

Advisors can get started using Whimstay’s Travel Agent Program by visiting join.whimstay.com/travel-agents or reaching out directly to travelagents@whimstay.com.
