Railbookers to Host First Travel Advisor Small-Group FAM Trips in 2027

by Briana Bonfiglio  October 30, 2026

Railbookers will host its first-ever small-group familiarization (FAM) trips for travel advisors in 2027.

In the past, Railbookers had only offered independent FAM trips. With this new program, small groups of travel advisors will embark on 10 itineraries throughout the year alongside the company’s Rail Experts. Once selected, advisors pay only $500 for the trip, which includes all rail and single-occupancy hotel accommodations, sightseeing activities, and select meals.

“Travel advisors are essential partners in helping their clients discover the possibilities of a rail vacation,” said Jim Marini, SVP of strategic partnerships at Railbookers. “Our 2027 itineraries, the largest launch of rail familiarization trips ever, give them a chance to experience a journey alongside our Rail Experts, asking questions, hearing our team’s insights and seeing what makes each destination special. That firsthand perspective helps them bring the trip to life for clients.”

Travel advisors can now apply to join one of the following Railbookers FAM trips:

  • Switzerland’s Famous Trains — June and September
  • Rome, Florence, and Venice — April and November
  • Edinburgh, London, and Paris — May
  • Anchorage, Seward, Denali and Fairbanks — June
  • Prague, Vienna, and Budapest — September
  • Canadian Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer — October
  • Tokyo, Hakone, and Kyoto — October
  • Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona — November
