TTC Tours Brands has unveiled a refreshed Groups Program that offers more flexibility and benefits for travel advisors and their clients.
It marks TTC Tour Brands’ most significant overhaul of the Groups Program to date, encompassing groups policy changes for Scheduled Groups, Custom Groups, Small Groups, and Trafalgar River Cruises across all the company’s brands: Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Costsaver, and Brendan Vacations. Overall, the new program promises advisors a faster, more transparent booking experience with enhanced booking capabilities and communications, with group pricing locked in at the time of reservation and better rewards.
Melissa DaSilva, deputy CEO and chief sales officer of TTC Tour Brands, called the changes “a huge step up for our Groups Program.”
“Travel advisors deserve tools that match the ambition of their groups business,” she said. “We’ve listened closely to what advisors need most, and these enhancements allow advisors to be more efficient with real-time visibility, faster confirmations and stronger benefits so they can book with confidence, compete on value and deliver experiences their clients will never forget.”
For Custom Groups, advisors can now build fully tailored itineraries for groups of 15 or more guests. For Small Groups, they can now place holds on groups of 9-10 guests, with additional availability upon request. Advisors can also choose from a range of group benefits, including a 5% group discount, 50% off for the 10th guest, or the 18th guest traveling free.
Trafalgar River Cruises has its own enhanced groups program now, too, that features additional incentives, stackable offers, group discounts and a new Groups Amenity Points (GAP Points) rewards program. Guests can use GAP points toward onboard experiences such as beverage packages, shore excursions, and onboard credit. Other river cruise group benefits include
TTC Tour Brands will host a “Group Sales Made Easy with Trafalgar” webinar on July 29, dedicated to discussing the changes to Scheduled Groups, Custom Groups, and river cruise group bookings. Further information is also available on the Travel Agent Portal (TAP).
