Allianz Enhances Agent Sales And Reporting Tools

by Richard D’Ambrosio  November 09, 2016

Allianz Global Assistance has launched an enhanced version of its AgentMax online platform, with a focus on providing agents with the ability to produce quotes faster, and to examine travel insurance purchasing trends to spot sales opportunities.

One of the most important tools is new reporting to track sales, policy count and commission by user, agency and main office. The new reports also provide breakdowns by product at those levels, which helps agency owners see what types of policies their agents are selling.

Another new tool is software that can recommend insurance policies for clients based on the itinerary information a travel agent inputs into the system.

The enhancements launching this month are part of a push by Allianz to operate its agent software “in the cloud,” so it will be easily accessible from any computer, smartphone or tablet. That also will make it possible for travel agents to scan their customers’ credit cards using the camera on a cellphone—which in turn will speed up their commission payments.

Allianz is in the middle of migration that will move all travel agents off desktop software and onto the cloud platform.
