A major partnership, expanded opportunities for independent travel advisors and a growing North American community are taking centre stage in Jamaica as Envoyage kicked off its largest North American Summit yet Tuesday night (Oct. 20).
The gathering at the upscale, all-inclusive Princess Grand Jamaica, located in Green Island near Negril, marks the first major event where Envoyage is showcasing its new partnership with Travel Leaders Network (TLN), giving advisors a closer look at the tools, products and business-building opportunities now available through the alliance.
“This is really the first event that we’re launching [the partnership] together,” said Envoyage’s Christina Pedroni, executive vice president and general manager, USA, speaking to Travel Market Report at last night’s welcome festivities.
“[TLN] is hosting three breakout sessions to share different elements of their programs and what they offer to advisors.”

Last night opened with a welcome cocktail on “Dream Island,” an outdoor event space at Princess Grand Jamaica, a 590-suite beachfront resort that opened in 2024 along a scenic coastline in Jamaica’s Hanover Parish.
For Pedroni, the Summit represents an opportunity to bring Envoyage’s North American community together while helping advisors capitalize on the company’s latest investments.
“Every one of our events are about investing in our advisors and helping them invest in themselves, their growth and business,” she said.
Travel Leaders: The Best of Both Worlds
Announced in July, Envoyage’s new relationship with Travel Leaders Network (its first-ever consortium partnership) marks a significant expansion of the resources available to its independent advisor network.
Pedroni identified three major benefits already generating excitement among members: TLN’s cruise programs, lead generation and the combined buying power of two major travel organizations.
TLN’s cruise offerings, including amenity sailings, Distinctive Voyages and culinary experiences provide added value for clients booking through travel advisors, she explained.
“That’s been the biggest first win of the relationship,” she said.

TLN’s cruise program give advisors another way to demonstrate their value against direct booking channels,
Another early success is TLN’s Agent Profiler, which allows advisors to create profiles on TravelLeaders.com, highlight their expertise and generate consumer leads.
Pedroni said the program is already delivering results, despite being available to Envoyage advisors for only a few weeks.
The third benefit is arguably the most significant for Envoyage’s long-term positioning.
As part of Flight Centre Travel Group, Envoyage already benefits from a global network of supplier relationships, technology and travel products. TLN adds the reach and resources of one of North America’s largest travel agency consortia.
“Now, it’s the best of both worlds,” Pedroni said.
“We have the global backing of the Flight Centre Travel Group and the breadth of product that it brings to advisors, but we also now have the biggest consortia in the U.S. and Canada sitting behind us. It’s really powering Envoyage for the advisors.”
“You can’t escape AI”
Beyond TLN, artificial intelligence is another focus of this year’s Summit.
As consumers increasingly turn to AI-powered platforms for travel inspiration, research and recommendations, Pedroni said advisors must ensure their businesses and expertise are visible in an increasingly-competitive digital environment.
“You can’t escape AI,” she said. “It’s always going to be one of the biggest talking points.”

Sessions this week will explore practical ways advisors can position their businesses to appear in AI-generated recommendations, with an emphasis on clearly communicating their specialties and unique selling points.
Whether advisors specialize in luxury vacations, cruises, adventure travel or niche destinations, making that expertise discoverable is becoming increasingly important.
“It’s getting more competitive than ever,” Pedroni said. “It’s so important for [advisors] to put themselves out there and highlight their expertise.”
A Global Brand, a Growing Community
The Summit builds on Envoyage’s evolution as a global independent travel agency network.
Launched in early 2024, Envoyage replaced the long-running Independent by Flight Centre brand as part of a gradual international rollout, beginning in the United States before expanding to Canada that June.
Previously, Australia-based Flight Centre Travel Group operated separate independent agency brands across its international markets.

Envoyage brought those businesses together under one identity, connecting advisors and agency owners through a centralized ecosystem of products, technology and services, including platforms such as Travefy.
The brand’s philosophy is to leverage best practices from around the world while maintaining strong local advisor communities.
That approach is also reflected in its conference strategy.
Envoyage’s flagship Worldwide conference, held last year in Sun City, South Africa, brought together advisors from its international markets. The next edition is scheduled for September 2027.
Regional Summits, meanwhile, offer market-specific education and networking opportunities closer to home.
A Little Friendly Competition
The Summit’s agenda combines business education with opportunities to explore Jamaica.
Wednesday’s (Oct. 21) program features general sessions covering global travel trends, TLN benefits, advisor interviews, supplier presentations and a keynote speaker, followed by a partner trade show.
Adding an interactive twist, advisors are participating in a points-based competition throughout the event, earning points by engaging with supplier partners and completing challenges.

Thursday takes attendees off-property for a community giveback initiative at Green Island Library and Primary School, where participants will help build and paint benches and spend time reading with students.
Hotel site inspections in Negril and sunset cocktails at Rick’s Café are also on the agenda.
Friday brings country-specific breakout sessions, one-on-one appointments with supplier partners and Envoyage leadership, and a festive finale featuring the One Love Cocktail Party and Gala.
Supporting Jamaica’s Tourism Comeback
The Summit arrives at a meaningful time for Jamaica, almost one year after Category 5 Hurricane Melissa devastated parts of the island.
As the destination prepares for an important winter tourism season, bringing experienced North American travel advisors to Jamaica provides an opportunity to showcase its recovery and build confidence among travel sellers.

For Pedroni, supporting Jamaica’s tourism industry was another compelling reason to host the event on the island.
“We’re almost a year now from Hurricane Melissa, so coming back to the island and supporting tourism is great,” she said. “I’m just excited to be here with our people.”
Envoyage’s 2026 North American Summit runs until October 24. Stay tuned for more on-location updates.
