KORE has announced the launch of a new tool to assess aspiring travel advisors and evaluate if they are suited for a career in travel sales.
The KORE Travel Education Program is a training platform for independent travel professionals. Its digital curriculum offers training, mentoring, and support for new advisors entering the industry, empowering them with the tools and knowledge to establish a strong foundation for their business.
The new profile tool is an interactive online assessment, “Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Million-Dollar Travel Advisor?” The assessment presents the prospect with 10 questions based on real industry challenges, such as flight disruptions and last-minute hotel complications. The user selects how they would respond to each scenario, and the profile tool rates their aptitutde for a career as a travel advisor.
“The sky’s the limit for travel advisors today,” said Diana Hnatov, director of sales and services for KORE. “There’s so much opportunity to create a satisfying, successful career – for those candidates with the right strengths. This tool gives aspiring advisors a better sense of whether the profession aligns with their instincts and skills.”
According to KORE, the tool launch coincides with a crucial moment for the travel advisor industry. Not only has LinkedIn named travel advisors as one of its top 25 Jobs on the Rise for the last two years, but Future Market Insights predicts travel agency services to grow by 10.4 percent each year to $1.4 trillion in 2035.
“KORE’s mission is to recruit and train the next generation of advisors,” said Hnatov. “This assessment will spark the interest of prospects and set expectations about what it takes to be a success in this career.”
