Travefy Partnering with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection to Streamline Insurance Quoting

Travefy this week announced a direct integration with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) slated to launch in late 2026, aiming to simplify how travel advisors quote and sell travel insurance.

The partnership will allow advisors using Travefy’s itinerary and CRM platform to pull existing traveler profiles and itinerary details directly into BHTP insurance quoting workflows.

The primary selling point for the trade is efficiency, eliminating double data entry and allowing advisors to present protection plans to clients without leaving their core management system.

“Travel advisors are looking for ways to make every part of the booking experience more efficient, and our collaboration with Travefy is designed to help them make offering travel insurance a natural part of that workflow without requiring a separate process,” said Dean Sivley, president of Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection.

BHTP joins a select group of travel insurance providers establishing direct, native integrations with Travefy. Travefy is also preparing a similar workflow integration with Arch RoamRight expected in Q4 2026, reflecting a broader push across advisor technology platforms-such as Tern and TravelJoy-to embed insurance quoting directly into client proposals and itineraries.

By bringing insurance quoting directly into the planning process, both companies hope to help agencies increase insurance attachment rates by making policy options top-of-mind during the booking process.
