The average tax refund from Uncle Sam is just over $3,000, and after working hard all year, many people put the extra cash toward a well-deserved vacation. Here are some deals and discounts from suppliers that both you and your client can take advantage of.

Kimpton Hotels
Guests staying at Kimpton properties in Chicago (Hotel Palomar Chicago, Hotel Monaco Chicago, Hotel Burnham, and Hotel Allegro) can enjoy one of four perks on April 18 for $10.40. Valued at $20, the perks include 2 pm checkout, a bottle of wine or prosecco delivered to your room, $20 off parking, or a free appetizer and cocktail at the hotel bar.

Royal Caribbean
Taxes and fees will be waived on bookings made by April 18 on cruises of six nights or longer to the Bahamas or the Caribbean, and roundtrip sailings to the Mediterranean between May 15, 2016, and March 31, 2017.

South Africa Tourism
South African Tourism is partnering with South African Airways Vacations, Lion World Travel, and Smartours to offer packages for $3,000 or less, including airfare. Highlights include tours of Kruger National Park, driving through game reserves, and exploring the cities of Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Beaches Resorts
Get up to a $750 booking bonus on vacations at Beaches Resorts from now through the end of April. The promotion is valid for travel from Aug. 13 to Dec. 20. A seven-night stay will get a $750 bonus, six nights a $650 bonus, and five nights a $550 bonus. The promotion applies to Beaches properties in Ocho Rios, Negril, and Turks & Caicos.

Conrad Chicago
The Conrad Chicago is offering guests an upgrade and relax package this weekend only. Book from April 15 to 18, for a stay in September or later, and guests will receive a complimentary upgrade and extended checkout until 2 p.m.

Marriot
Ten Marriott properties in Washington D.C., including the JW Marriot, Renaissance, and Marriott hotels, are offering a tax day savings of up to 20% off on four-night stays from May 26 to Sept. 5. The deal is valid through Sept 5.

Westin New York Grand Central Hotel
The hotel’s “The Tax Is On Us” special gives guests 15% off flexible room rates on weekends, which covers New York City’s lodging taxes. The deal is available on stays from now through Dec. 31, when booked by May 17.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino
With the “No Tax, Just Relax” package, guests get a fifth free night, no room taxes, a $40 casino coupon, and a free cocktail per person. To apply, bookings must be made by April 25 for travel through Dec. 18.
