TRAVELSAVERS Canada Says OnlineXpress Website Program Drives Leads & Business

TRAVELSAVERS Canada Says OnlineXpress Website Program Drives Leads & Business

TRAVELSAVERS Canada says member agencies using OnlineXpress, TRAVELSAVERS’ website and marketing program, have experienced a 16% year-over-year lift in business.

The company says OnlineXpress offers travel advisors a polished, proprietary platform to boost online visibility, client engagement, and lead generation.

“OnlineXpress offers agencies branded websites, integrated marketing tools, and lead-generation features that enable travellers to explore destinations, view promotions, and submit trip inquiries,” TRAVELSAVERS Canada said in a press release.

“Requests are routed to the advisor to keep client relationships within agency control. The platform includes customizable templates, mobile responsiveness, built-in SEO, and call-to-action elements to help advisors promote offers and capture leads.”

How it Works: Driving Consumer Interest and Inquiries

OnlineXpress uses multiple digital touchpoints, including email newsletters and supplier offers, to share branded promotions that draw travellers to its website — a digital storefront it owns. There, consumers can read more about the trip, understand how the advisor can help, and submit an inquiry for planning assistance.

The platform’s email component sends supplier and advisor content to an agency’s client list, with no limit on the number of contacts. Consumers receive relevant travel inspiration and offers with the agency’s branding, creating scalable marketing without increasing advisor workload.

“OnlineXpress is highly effective at converting traveller demand into bookings,” said Christine Vincent, Senior Director of Online Strategies and Consumer Engagement, TRAVELSAVERS. “It offers automated, always-on marketing that allows advisors to focus their energy on other areas of brand building and client service.”

With research suggesting that 35% of travellers discover new destinations on Instagram and 70% use search engines for trip planning, the platform equips advisors to meet consumerswhere they are already researching and engaging, turning digital discovery into real conversations and real business.

Wide Usage Among Leading Agencies

TRAVELSAVERS Canada says its top-producing agencies are increasingly investing in OnlineXpress to bolster consumer marketing and online visibility. The platform has seen sign-ups grow by 9% year-over-year.

“Two-thirds of Canadian OnlineXpress users fall into the Elite and Star categories, our highest-producing, most engaged agencies,” Vincent said. “Their adoption of OnlineXpress is a strong indicator of the platform’s effectiveness and business value.”

In response to advisor demand, the platform has expanded significantly since its 2015 launch. OnlineXpress now offers several website layout options and built-in tools to support ongoing marketing. In the past year, the program has expanded to provide custom-designed websites for agencies, producing professional digital storefronts at a fraction of traditional development costs.

Enhanced Support and Platform Investment

A dedicated team provides a support desk for OnlineXpress onboarding, page creation, website updates, troubleshooting, webmaster maintenance and digital consultations.

To expand support for OnlineXpress agencies, TRAVELSAVERS has appointed Kendra Smallcanyon as Website and Agent Support Coordinator. In this newly created role, Smallcanyon assists advisors in strengthening their online presence and provides support across the platform.
