A&K Sanctuary will introduce an all-new luxury riverboat – the 64-passenger Nile Seray – on the Nile River in 2026, the fifth and most spacious riverboat launched by the brand in Egypt.
Nile Seray – the name “Seray” means palace – will feature 32 suites, with entry-level accommodations starting at 355 square feet. Each suite features a seating area beside floor-to-ceilings, a waterside Juliet balcony, and large bathroom. The two largest suites have full private balconies with outdoor spa pools.
Onboard, cruisers will find two restaurants helmed by world-class chefs (one indoors, one out), a spa and gym, a top deck with canopied beds, a swimming pool, and an outdoor bar and lounge with wraparound views of the Nile Valley. The wellness space features two spa treatment rooms alongside a well-equipped gym.
“Nile Seray represents the evolution of our nearly five decades of pioneering river cruising in Egypt,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of AKTG. “This vessel embodies our understanding that luxury today is defined not by excess, but by space, authenticity, and the quality of experience. It reflects how we see travel: deeply personal, beautifully crafted, and rooted in genuine connection to place.”
Nile Seray Goes Beyond Egypt’s Standard Sites
Part of what will set Nile Seray’s itinerary offering apart from other Nile River ships is the inclusion of tombs on the West Bank of the Nile that are not typically included on a Nile River cruise. These include the final resting sites of some Egypt’s most famous names: Nefertari, Seti I, Ramses VI, and King Tutankhamun.
Nile Seray will sail between Awan and Luxor on four-night voyages. The carefully curated itinerary includes visits to the temples of Luxor, Karnak, and Aswan. Other experiences include a felucca sailing around Elephantine Island, Egyptian cooking classes, traditional entertainment, and the opportunity to take a hot-air balloon ride. Expert Egyptologists accompany every excursion.
Fares include all meals, excursions, and onboard amenities, and every booking supports A&K Philanthropy’s community initiatives in the region.
A&K has been offering Nile River cruises since 1977.
