AMADEUS River Cruises has expanded its U.S.-based leadership team with the appointment of a new vice president of sales. Simultaneously, the river cruise line promoted Marcus Leskovar to president.
According to the cruise line, the leadership moves underscore its “long-term commitment to the U.S. market: and its “dedication to supporting advisors.”
Joining the company as vice president of sales is Hannah Westerdoll, who comes to AMADEUS after eight years at AmaWaterways, where she held a series of senior leadership roles, including senior director of sales and director of key accounts. In her new role, she will oversee all sales efforts, working closely with a strong U.S. team as AMADEUS continues to expand its footprint in the market.
Leskovar’s promotion from executive vice president to president comes as AMADEUS River Cruises enters its next phase of growth. Having been at the helm of the company for nearly a decade, Leskovar has played a central role in expanding the brand’s visibility in North America and reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner to travel advisors.
The leadership team will work closely across sales, marketing, and trade partnerships to support AMADEUS’ continued growth in North America.
“These changes reflect the momentum we’re seeing and the direction we’re intentionally taking as a company,” said Leskovar. “Demand continues to grow in North America, and we are investing in experienced, relationship-driven professionals to support our travel advisor partners and strengthen our presence in this market. Both Hannah and Victoria’s deep understanding of the advisor community and their proven leadership make them a natural fit for where we’re headed.”
