Riverside Luxury Cruises Boosts Vintage Room Wine-Centric Dining Experiences

Riverside Luxury Cruises is expanding the dining options in its wine-centric Vintage Room. Available across the fleet, the smaller venue’s enhanced concept now centers on three elements: expanded pairing options, a lunch pairing meu, and an exclusive pre-dinner wine tasting.

“Great dining isn’t about telling guests what they should enjoy, and when. It’s about helping them enjoy what they already love,” said Jennifer Halboth, CEO Riverside Americas. “By diversifying our offerings, we are removing the ‘barrier of entry’ that may have previously deterred guests from enjoying this exclusive dining experience.”

While wine has always played a starring role in the Vintage Room, it is no longer the only path through the experience. Every guest enjoys the same chef-curated menu, but each can experience it in a way that reflects their personal preferences.

Guests may choose from:

  • Wine pairings featuring Champagne and carefully selected premium vintages
  • Curated dealcoholized wine pairings chosen for their complexity and harmony with each course, launching later in 2026
  • House-crafted, nonalcoholic botanical beverages developed exclusively for the Vintage Room
  • A water option for guests who prefer to experience the menu without a beverage pairing

“The best pairing is the one that allows a guest to enjoy the meal most fully,” said Johannes Bar, executive chef for Riverside Luxury Cruises. “Sometimes that’s a remarkable wine. Sometimes it’s a botanical beverage. Sometimes it’s simply a glass of water. What matters is creating an experience that feels personal, memorable, and delicious.”

In addition to expanded pairing options, Riverside has introduced two fresh ways to enjoy the Vintage Room.

The Vintage Room Lunch offers a refined four-course midday experience with the same pairing options available during dinner service, creating a relaxed daytime opportunity to experience Riverside’s culinary philosophy.

For guests eager to explore exceptional wines in greater depth, the new pre-dinner wine tasting features rare vintages, limited-production labels, and sommelier-led discussions accompanied by chef-created bites.

Designed to accommodate just 10 to 12 guests per seating, the Vintage Room experience is available aboard Riverside Mozart, Riverside Debussy and Riverside Ravel for an additional fee.
