Riverside Luxury Cruises will expand its fleet with the debut of Riverside Mahler in 2028, marking the first time the vessel will sail under the Riverside banner. The ship will join Riverside Debussy sailing itineraries on the Rhine, Main, Moselle, and Danube rivers.
The ship, which was part of the 2023 acquisition by Riverside of the former Crystal Cruises’ five-ship river fleet, has been sailing for Uniworld as the S.S. Elizabath as part of a three-year charter that began in 2025. The return to Riverside represents the next phase of Riverside’s growth plans.
“This is the next chapter for Riverside. Introducing Riverside Mahler gives us the opportunity to take everything we’ve built so far and apply it to the Rhine in new, creative ways—more access, more flexibility, and a fresh take on a river everyone thinks they already know” said Jennifer Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises. “As demand for true luxury river cruising continues to grow, this expansion allows us to build on our commitment to delivering an exceptional, highly personalized experience while honoring the legacy of these remarkable ships.”
Additional details regarding itineraries and onboard enhancements will be announced at a later date.
