Royal Caribbean has unveiled new details about its upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, including two beaches, three seaside Paradise Grills, over 40 cabanas for rental, and more. Passes and cabana rentals will open in the spring of 2025.

“The Royal Beach Club Collection is designed for every type of family and vacationer to get everything they want out of their ideal beach day – no matter the vibe they’re looking for,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of The Bahamas.”

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will span 17 acres on the western end of Paradise Island. With the purchase of a day pass, Royal Caribbean guests will be able to access all the amenities, with everything included from the first water taxi ride to drinks at the seven beach bars and three swim-up bars to food at the three Paradise Grills, and more.

“Royal Caribbean is thrilled to expand its destination portfolio with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president, sales and trade support and service.

The destination will stretch across three zones:

Family Beach, where families of all ages can splash or relax at Family Beach or The Shallow-End zero-entry pool. For friendly competition, visitors can engage in beach games of all kinds, from tug-of-war to paddle ball.  Family Beach will also feature the first – and only –Ultimate Family Cabana, a two-story private retreat, fit for families of up to 12, offering a dedicated whirlpool, frozen drink machine, slide, private bathroom, personal attendant and more.

Chill Beach, where guests can catch some sun poolside at The Deep End or unwind on the powdery white sand of Chill Beach. Guests will also find a local market with local artisan huts and eateries featuring island flavors such as grilled shrimp skewers and fire engine fritters.

Party Cove, for the more animated visitors featuring DJ-spun beats at the massive swim-up bar, The Floating Flamingo. For an extra fee, guests can step into the Party Cove VIP space, featuring personal poolside service.

Slated to open in Dec. 2025, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will be the first of two planned Beach Clubs for the cruise line. The second will be Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026.

Cruisers have several ways to visit the Beach Club with a combination of vacations from six cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Cape Liberty (Bayonne), Galveston, and Baltimore. The lineup ranges from three nights on Utopia of the Seas to a seven-day cruise on Symphony of the Seas.
