Canadian luxury rail line, Rocky Mountaineer, has launched a new travel agent training program called TRACKS, which will offer specialist status to all travel agents who complete it.
The program is a five-module course that introduces agents to Rocky Mountaineer’s service levels, routes, seasons, and packages. It also gives them access to shareable sales content, webinars, and a direct link to Rocky Mountaineer’s support teams.
“Travel agents are incredibly valuable to Rocky Mountaineer, as they guide our guests throughout the booking process and help us to deliver a seamless, end-to-end guest experience. Agents account for roughly 80 percent of our sales globally, so we truly think of them an extension of our team,” Jonathan Hope, Rocky Mountaineer’s managing director of sales, told Travel Market Report.
“We are dedicated to establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our travel agent partners, which is why we developed and launched TRACKS. By better equipping our travel agent partners with the knowledge they need to sell Rocky Mountaineer, they can help us to create life-changing experiences for our guests.”
To celebrate the program’s launch, all agents who finish TRACK by the end of the year will be eligible to win two, two-day, rail-only GoldLeaf Service tickets from Rocky Mountaineer.
