The Travel Institute’s (TI) will launch its first-ever Alumni Celebration Week on Monday, Nov. 10, an initiative designed to support CTA, CTC, and CTIE graduates not just through certification, but throughout their careers. The week also marks the institute’s Founders’ Day.

The goal with the program is to establish a new level of alumni advocacy, providing certified agents with more frequent communication and support. The TI has created a new private dashboard, a monthly newsletter, email communication, and more for graduates, all aimed at fostering community and ensuring continued learning for travel professionals. Long-term, the institute intends to build a comprehensive alumni network that will allow graduates to learn from and lean on each other.

The TI will host alumni-only PEP Talks throughout the week, including:

  • Nov. 11: Designing a Profitable Service Suite that Supports Growth by Jennifer Jacob, COO and co-founder of TIQUE.
  • Nov. 13: The Hidden Fraud Threats that Could Destroy Your Travel Agency by Sheila Folk, the CEO and founder of Travel Industry Solutions.

The institute is also publishing an alumni-only white paper, “Standard Operation Procedures: The Playbook to Travel Success,” available to certified graduates for a limited time. Additionally, an alumni-only online trivia game is running, offering prizes such as subscriptions to the TI education hub, swag, and the chance to win one of four cruises donated by alumni partners at AmaWaterways, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, and Silversea.
