As Crystal Cruises continues to solidify its product as it works toward relaunching at the end of July, the line has chosen Allianz Global Assistance to provide its trip protection insurance.

The trip protection may reimburse Crystal guests up to 100% of their insured trip costs if they have to cancel or interrupt their voyage for a reason covered by their plan. Benefits for travel delays and lost, delayed, or damaged baggage are also included, along with benefits for medical and dental emergencies, and emergency medical transportation. Crystal guests will also have access to Allianz’s concierge and travel assistance services, as well as the company’s TravelSmart mobile app.

“As we celebrate the relaunch of the storied Crystal brand, we are thrilled to partner with Allianz Global Assistance to provide additional peace of mind to our valued guests,” said Crystal president Jack Anderson. “Along with an unparalleled level of service and experiences, we are proud to offer our guests travel insurance and assistance that offers trip protection from booking to return. Crystal guests opting to protect their trip can now enjoy their cruises even more, knowing they are protected from certain unexpected events.”

All benefits of the Allianz Global Assistance trip protection include coverage limits and may be subject to a per-day maximum. Other terms and conditions also apply.
