Holland America Offers Audible Content to Guests
by Dori Saltzman /Holland America Line has partnered with Audible to provide a co-branded book club, as well as offer guests curated destination-focused collections – accessed via an extended Audible free trial – and free in-stateroom Audible content.
The collaboration offers a selection of options that range from travel and well-being to language lessons, and more.
“We know from extensive research that reading is a top priority for guests both on and off vacation, so the Audible collaboration was a natural next step for us to connect with our guest community,” said Kacy Cole, chief marketing officer at Holland America.
To participate in the monthly book club, consumers can sign up for a two-month extended free trial of Audible Premium Plus to gain access to its entire catalogue of titles, including audiobooks, podcasts, and more. Guests can also visit audible.com/ep/Holland-country-selector to easily access online carousels of audiobook recommendations curated for HAL travel destinations including Alaska, Europe, Canada, Asia, and the Caribbean.
Guests can participate in the monthly book club virtually through the line’s social media channels. The first Holland America-Audible Book Club kicks off the “The Justice,” and eight-part Audible Original thriller from James Patterson.
Onboard, guests can further listen to a variety of Audible titles through their in-stateroom entertainment system without needing an Audible subscription.
