Luxury cruise line, Seabourn, is launching a new and updated version of its travel advisor portal and e-learning website, Seabourn Academy.

The new version of Seabourn Academy (seabournacademy.com), which was originally launched in 2012, is fresh with updated information including marketing materials, videos, and company news, all for advisors to use when talking to their clients.

Advisors wanting to get certified by Seabourn Academy can participate in six courses: “Mastering the Art of Selling Luxury Travel”; “The Elements of Ultra-Luxury”; “The Anatomy of Ultra-Luxury Leisure”; “Luxury Travel Destinations”; “Locating, Attracting, and Servicing Luxury Travelers”; and “Making the Sale & Seabourn Sales Support.” There are also two optional courses: “Social Media 101”; and a module on “Seabourn Journeys,” the line’s pre- and post-cruise, commissionable excursion program.

Aside from being certified, all advisors who complete Seabourn Academy will get education credits from CLIA, the Travel Institute, or ACTA; Seabourn Advisor Appreciation Fares; and the chance to win a complimentary Seabourn sailing.

The program, which just celebrated its 5,000th graduate, will also highlight new vessels from Seabourn, including its expanding fleet that is set to introduce two new ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ships in June 2021 and May 2022.
