ALG Vacations Promotes Allison Giunta to Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing

Apple Leisure Group Vacations (ALG Vacations) on Tuesday announced the promotion of Allison Giunta, who had been serving as senior manager of trade media, to a newly created role in the company.

Giunta, who began her tenure at ALG Vacations in 2009, will now serve as senior manager of integrating marketing for the company, effective immediately.

“I’ve been so proud of the work ALG Vacations’ has accomplished with campaigns such as Ask a Travel Advisor and this year’s Plan with Pro, that showcase advisors value. I am excited to step into this opportunity to develop new, innovative ways to continue to support, reward, and aid in the success of the advisor community,” Giunta said.

At the same time, ALG Vacations announced two other internal promotions.

Lindsey Jones will take over as manager, of trade media and strategic initiatives. Jones will report to Monica Bachmann, who also received a promotion to ALG Vacations’ senior manager of consortia, host, and trade marketing.

"Looking forward to continuing to build on the great relationships with our trade partners while we strive to find innovative ways to grow in the industry,” Jones said.

"I’m thrilled to take on a new and exciting opportunity to help support our trade partners by leveraging my 10+ years at ALG Vacations, and continuing to expand my knowledge within our travel community!” Bachmann said.
