Delta Air Lines to Launch New Australia Flight Later This Year
by Daniel McCarthy /Delta Air Lines is continuing to build its largest-ever winter schedule to the South Pacific, adding new Los Angeles to Brisbane service later this year.
Delta will fly from Los Angeles International (LAX) to Brisbane three times weekly starting on Dec. 4, 2024. Delta will operate the service seasonally through Mar. 28, 2025.
The carrier will fly the service on the Airbus A350-900, offering Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and its main cabin experiences. The Delta One Suite ticket includes a fully reclining seat and plush bedding in suite.
Once the service kicks off, Delta will offer up to 17 weekly flights between the U.S. and Australia, which will mark its largest-ever winter schedule to the region. Aside from Brisbane, Delta also flies into Sydney 14 times per week, into Auckland daily, and into Tahiti 3 times per week.
