Air Transat has announced its exclusive Montreat-Nantes service will now be offered year-round.

From November 2024, the Canadian airline will operate twice weekly (Fridays and Sundays) direct flights to Nantes, France from Montreal, Canada. This marks Air Transat’s fourth French destination with year-round service, alongside Paris. Marseille, and Lyon.

“Nantes is a continuation of the annualization of our services to the French provinces,” said Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s chief revenue officer. “This will not only allow our passengers to discover this beautiful region of France throughout the year, but it will also facilitate family reunions for the large French community living in Montreal.”

Air Transat is also expanding its exclusive Marrakech, Morocco service, which debuted June 12. The carrier will add a weekly flight this winter, from Feb. 12 and April 24. Air Transat is also increasing the frequency of its service to Puerto Vallarta from Feb. 11 to March 25.

All additional flights will be operated using Air Transat’s new-generation Airbus A321LR aircraft.
