Arajet, the Caribbean’s low-price airline, originating from the Dominican Republic, is making significant strides in the Canadian market by introducing new flight connections from Toronto and Montreal to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Víctor Pacheco Méndez, the CEO and founder of Arajet, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity this presents for Canadians, stating, “Canadians will be able to enjoy the privileged location of our low-price hub in the Dominican Republic to connect with dream destinations in the Caribbean throughout the year.” He also emphasized that expanding Arajet’s services would boost tourism, economic development, job creation, and regional opportunities.

Arajet will offer four weekly flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Sales for flights from Pearson International Airport in Toronto have already opened. These flights will offer destinations including Cartagena, Medellín, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Marten, Kingston, and Sao Paulo, with operations set to commence on October 24.

In addition to Toronto, Arajet will fly out of Montreal to Santo Domingo, commencing on November 7.

Anjuna Global official sales agent for the Canadian market
Arajet has partnered with Anjuna Global (APG) as its official sales agent and local partner to enhance its presence in the Canadian market, aiming to establish closer ties with the Canadian public and travel agents.

Arajet unveiled a new service that allows tourists to travel by bus to the popular vacation spots of Bávaro and Punta Cana in under two hours from Santo Domingo. This service can be accessed through the Arajet website or Canadian representative Anjuna Global (APG).

“For the Dominican Republic, Canada is the second most important country in tourist emissions, and Punta Cana is the main destination for Canadians to vacation, so Arajet wants to offer the best price, comfort, and security to all our friends in Canada together with the Anjuna (APG) experts:” highlighted Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.

Arajet Announces special fare to commemorate first year of operations
To celebrate its first year of operation on September 15, Arajet has partnered with Boeing to launch an anniversary campaign. This campaign allows passengers to purchase tickets at a special offer of only $7.37 per segment, excluding taxes or fees. This limited-time offer is available for flights to 15 countries, including Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Saint Maarten, Curaçao, Aruba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.

During its first year, Arajet allowed customers to fly to 22 destinations in 15 countries, with more than 150 combinations of connections from all its destinations. The airline plans to introduce new routes from Santo Domingo to Sao Paulo, Toronto, Santiago de Chile, Montreal, Buenos Aires, and another passage from Santiago de los Caballeros to Bogotá that will connect with Arajet’s other routes.

Arajet is committed to transforming the Dominican Republic into the new low-price hub of the continent. It offers 74 connections with competitive fares and operates on new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft known for their 14% fuel savings compared to single-aisle aircraft in the regional market. Additionally, these aircraft produce 40% less noise pollution.
