American Cruise Lines Unveils 2019 Holiday Schedule

by Daniel McCarthy

American Cruise Lines (ACL) is preparing for the 2019 Holiday Season by releasing its schedule of sailings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year.

ACL will sail the cruises starting in November 2019 with three of its eight-day Thanksgiving cruise (Memphis to New Orleans, Charleston to Jacksonville, and roundtrip Jacksonville) and will follow it with eight-day Spirit of the Season (roundtrip New Orleans, Jacksonville to Charleston and back, and roundtrip Jacksonville), eight-day Christmas (Jacksonville to Charleston and roundtrip New Orleans), and eight-day New Year’s (roundtrip New Orleans and Charleston to Jacksonville) themed sailing on the lower Mississippi and the Southeast Coast.

The line will also sail one special Colonial Christmas Cruises over both Christmas and New Year’s, an 11-day sailing that travels round-trip from Baltimore in Chesapeake Bay and includes a stop in Washington D.C.

On all of the themed sailings, guests can enjoy decorated ships, holiday décor, seasonal meals, cocktail parties, and more events to get them into the season both onboard and onshore.
