In early 2020, the Disney Wonder will embark on a variety of Caribbean and Bahamian cruises from New Orleans – the first time Disney Cruise Line will have a home port in Louisiana. The Disney Cruise Line will make its Big Easy debut in early 2020. The line is set to sail Wonder out of New Orleans, the first of its ships ever to depart from the city, in February 2020. The ship will sail six cruises during its time in New Orleans — three will be Western Caribbean itineraries (one four-nights, one six, and one seven); one will be a seven-night Bahamian sailing; and the last will be a 14-day Panama Canal cruise.
Disney is also making its return to Hawaii in 2020 when Wonder sails to Honolulu from Vancouver on a nine-night itinerary on Apr. 29; and then sails a reverse, 10-day itinerary of Honolulu to Vancouver on May 8.
The cruise line also announced returns to Puerto Rico and California for 2020 on Disney Wonder. The ship is expected to sail two seven-night cruises from San Juan on Jan. 19 and 26; then move onto San Diego in March, where it will sail Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries.
The 2020 itineraries will open to booking next month, starting Oct. 1. Disney will first roll out the booking opportunities to its Castaway Club members: Platinum members on Oct. 1, Gold members on Oct. 3, Silver members on Oct. 3, and all guests on Oct. 4.
