Dream Hotel Group Signs Three New Locations in Tulum, Mexico

Dream Hotel Group has inked a deal with Mexico-based real estate development group Los Amigos to operate three new properties in the coastal resort town of Tulum.

All three projects – one beachfront hotel and two condo-hotels totaling 303 rooms – will fall under the company’s new By Dream Hotel Group brand, a collection of independent lifestyle hotels.

The 120-key Central Park Rios by Dream Hotel Group Tulum will open in winter 2022 with one signature restaurant, multiple fitness areas, lobby lounge, and spacious pool deck.

Set to open in winter 2020, Central Park Lagunas by Dream Hotel Group Tulum will feature 177 rooms, an expansive pool deck, signature restaurant, fitness center, and spa.

The Beach Club by Dream Hotel Group Tulum will be part of an existing water front property that will be renovated to include 20 new guest rooms, a restaurant and outdoor lounge boasting unobstructed views of the Caribbean, and a wellness area directly on the beach with massage tables, yoga, and meditation space.

The New York-based company operates Time Hotels, Dream Hotels and more recently, The Chatwal, the company’s luxury brand, and Unscripted Hotels. In addition to the flagship NYC hotel, two Chatwals are slated to open in 2021 in Mexico: The Chatwal San Miguel de Allende with 44 villas and 125 residences and The Chatwal Valle de Guadalupe with 80 suites and 50 residences. These projects, along with the Tulum properties, will bring Dream Hotel Group’s Mexican portfolio up to eight hotels.
