Southwest Airlines’ popular Companion Pass is back.

Southwest announced the return of the pass on Monday, bringing back one of the more popular promotions for the carrier. The Companion Pass allows Rapid Rewards Members to designate one person to fly with them for almost nothing (they’ll just have to pay taxes and fees, which comes to about $5) every time they purchase or redeem points for a flight.

The promotion will be short-lived—to be eligible, flyers must book one round trip or two one-way flights by the end of March 27, 2024, for travel from March 25, 2024, to May 22, 2024. Flyers can then earn a Companion Pass after those flights, valid for use between Aug. 5, 2024, and Oct. 2, 2024.

“We know the Companion Pass is a favorite perk of our Rapid Rewards program, and we’re thrilled to bring back this promotion for a limited time so that Customers can experience why this popular benefit is so meaningful,” said Jonathan Clarkson, Vice President Marketing at Southwest Airlines. “We invite our Customers to take advantage of this offer because traveling with your favorite Companion supports sharing of adventures and creating memories that can last a lifetime.”

The full details can be found on the Southwest Airlines website, or below:
