Puerto Plata is a new destination for Flair Airlines.
Beginning December 18, Flair will fly nonstop from Montréal (YUL) to Puerto Plata (POP) twice weekly, followed by service from Toronto (YYZ) beginning December 19, operating up to twice weekly.
Puerto Plata is an entirely new destination for the airline, expanding its winter sun offering from both markets with air-only fares and Flair Vacations packages.
“Puerto Plata is a brand-new destination for Flair and one we’re excited to bring to travellers in both Québec and Ontario this winter,” said Len Corrado, CEO, Flair Airlines. “Canadians want more choice when they travel, and these new routes give them another nonstop option to the sun at a great value.”
Puerto Plata, on the Dominican Republic’s north coast, is known for its beaches and resorts as well as its historic city, mountains and adventure experiences.
| Route | Launch date | Frequency | Starting one-way fares* |
| Montréal (YUL) – Puerto Plata (POP) | Dec. 18, 2026 | 2x weekly | $279 CAD |
| Toronto (YYZ) – Puerto Plata (POP) | Dec. 19, 2026 | Up to 2x weekly | $249 CAD |
| Montréal (YUL) – Puerto Vallarta (PVR) | Dec. 16, 2026 | 1x weekly | $269 CAD |
The new service is part of Flair’s growing winter sun network. In Québec, Flair is adding winter capacity in Montréal to support expanded flying, including new nonstop service from Montréal to Puerto Vallarta (PVR) beginning December 16. Montréal will become Flair’s fifth Canadian gateway, serving the popular Mexican Pacific destination.
“Adding Puerto Plata gives Canadians another great option for an affordable winter escape as Flair Vacations heads into its first winter season,” said Nicole Bursey, President, Flair Vacations. “With nonstop service from both Montréal and Toronto, travellers can package their Flair flight with a hotel and build a vacation that works for their budget.”
