Flyte Aviation Plans Private Jet Service to Toronto, Montreal & Ottawa

Flyte Aviation is expanding into Canada after receiving approval from Transport Canada to operate cross-border flights, with Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa among its initial target destinations.

The U.S.-based private aviation company announced the regulatory approval as part of its broader strategy to expand its North American network, offering travellers an alternative to commercial air service on shorter routes.

Flyte operates a growing fleet of Cirrus Vision Jets and uses a digital booking platform designed to simplify access to private aviation.

“Expanding into Canada is an exciting milestone for Flyte as we build out the much larger aviation network we envision,” said David Jenkins, Chairman and CEO of Flyte Aviation, in a press release. “Canada is a natural extension of our growing U.S. network, and we anticipate this expansion will open meaningful opportunities to serve customers traveling between major business, leisure and cultural destinations across North America.”

Toronto, Montreal & Ottawa Among Initial Markets

Flyte initially expects to connect urban centres in the northern and northeastern United States with Canadian destinations including Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

The proposed services remain subject to applicable airport, customs and operational requirements. The company has not announced specific routes or launch dates.

Flyte says it sees opportunities to attract business travellers, leisure customers, corporate partners and private aviation brokers looking for convenient cross-border transportation.

The company is particularly focused on shorter journeys where airport congestion, connecting flights and ground transportation can add considerable time to a trip.

“Private aviation should not become more complicated simply because a customer is traveling across a border,” Jenkins stated. “At Flyte, technology has a vital role in making international private travel easier to understand and access.”

The Canadian expansion builds on Flyte’s existing U.S. network and international operations serving Caribbean destinations.

Its Cirrus Vision Jets are designed for regional travel, offering a smaller-aircraft alternative to traditional private jets.

Strong Growth Reported

The expansion comes as Flyte reports significant growth in its business.

The company recently announced preliminary estimated third-quarter 2026 revenue of approximately US$2.1 million, representing a 110 per cent increase over the previous quarter.

Since launching its direct-to-consumer booking platform in late May, Flyte has added more than 13,000 registered accounts, bringing its total platform user base to more than 20,000.

Flyte says it is also expanding its relationships with organizations in the hospitality, sports, entertainment and cultural sectors to introduce its services to new customers.

The company recently introduced a Partner Portal as part of its B2B strategy, allowing partners to connect their customers with private aviation services.

Flyte has not yet disclosed pricing or booking availability for its planned Canadian flights.
