Porter Airlines is celebrating its 20th birthday with a giveaway for its nearly four million VIPorter loyalty program members: 20 days of 20,000 points.

Every day between Oct. 15 and Nov. 3, one VIPorter member will be awarded 20,000 VIPorter points. Canadian VIPorter members who have flown or redeemed points between Oct. 1, 2025, and Nov. 2, 2026, are automatically entered into the giveaway.

VIPorter redemption flights start at 5,000 VIPorter points for a one-way short-haul flight; 7,000 VIPorter points for a long-haul flight; and 10,000 points each way to select sun destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. Members can also redeem their points for flights operated by partner airlines, including Alaska Airlines and Air Transat, to select routes across the continental U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.

“Celebrating 20 years of service is about recognizing our passengers who have chosen to fly with us over the years. We are excited to mark this milestone by giving back to our loyal members – it’s our way of saying thank you,” said Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Porter, in a release.

Porter has grown from a regional carrier into Canada’s third largest airline, expanding its network across Canada, the U.S. and to sun destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

VIPorter has also grown with the airline and now offers BMO VIPorter Mastercard products, the ability to earn and redeem points with partner airlines, and recently launched a partnership with BMO Blue Rewards as its preferred airline partner.
