Few adventures on Earth rival a traverse of the Northwest Passage—a legendary Arctic route that has captivated explorers for centuries. For a limited time, travellers can take advantage of 25% savings on two 2026 Adventure Canada expeditions aboard the purpose-built Ocean Victory.
The Canadian operator invites travellers to experience this iconic journey from two distinct perspectives with its Into the Northwest Passage and Out of the Northwest Passage expeditions.
Each 17-day journey traces this historic waterway while immersing guests in the vibrant cultures, remarkable wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes of the High Arctic.
“Crossing the Northwest Passage isn’t simply about reaching a destination—it’s about experiencing one of the world’s great expeditions,” says Cedar Swan, CEO of Adventure Canada.
“These voyages connect guests with the people, wildlife, history, and vibrant living landscapes that define the Arctic, while demonstrating why meaningful travel in the North begins with listening, learning, and building relationships with the communities who call it home.”

Travellers can choose between two complementary itineraries:
Into the Northwest Passage (August 26-September 11, 2026) journeys westbound from Greenland into Arctic Canada, beginning in Kangerlussuaq and exploring one of the longest fjords in the world, as well as visiting colourful coastal communities along the Sisimiut Coast, before crossing the Davis Strait toward Nunavut, visiting Tallurutiup Imanga, Devon Island, Beechey Island, Ikirahaq, and the Kitikmeot Region.
Out of the Northwest Passage (September 11-27, 2026) follows the reverse route, departing from Western Nunavut and sailing east through the Canadian Arctic before crossing over and concluding in Greenland, offering a different seasonal perspective on the same route.
Whichever direction guests choose, they will have the opportunity to spot polar bears, beluga whales, narwhals, seals, and abundant seabirds while exploring by Zodiac and on guided shore excursions.

Equally compelling are opportunities to engage with Inuit communities and cultural educators whose stories and perspectives provide insight into life across the Arctic.
Guests also benefit from Adventure Canada’s expedition team of historians, archaeologists, writers, geologists, artists, filmmakers, photographers, and cultural experts who enrich every day with lectures, workshops, and guided interpretation.
Operating with fewer than 200 guests aboard the “modern but cozy” Ocean Victory, the expeditions combine comfort with exploration. Purpose-built for polar travel, the ship features an innovative X-BOW design for smoother sailing, ocean-view cabins, and advanced sustainability initiatives that support responsible expedition cruising.
