Norwegian Cruise Line Opens First 2027/2028 Sailings with Asia Pacific

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled 50 new voyages for its 2027/2028 season, featuring sought-after destinations across the Asia Pacific, including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.

Designed to give travellers more time to immerse themselves in each port, the expanded deployment offers itineraries ranging from seven to 21 days and includes calls to nearly 70 unique destinations. Highlights include 22 ports across Japan, 54 overnight stays, NCL’s first-ever call to Esperance, and an overnight visit to Fremantle in Western Australia.

The itineraries are included in NCL’s Black Friday promotion which offers up to 50% off all cruises and the popular Free at Sea™ package which includes over $2,000 in value with additional perks such as unlimited premium beverages; specialty dining meals; high-speed Wi-Fi package and shore excursion credits.

Norwegian Jade® returns to Asia from October 2027 through April 2028 with a series of nine- to 14-day roundtrip and open-jaw itineraries from Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan; Incheon, South Korea; Hong Kong and Singapore – a region that continues to experience significant traveller interest. Norwegian Jade will also operate six Southeast Asia itineraries between Singapore and Hong Kong, visiting tropical gems such as Ko Samui, Thailand; Phu My, Vietnam; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and the pristine beaches of Coron and Puerto Princesa in the Philippines.

Norwegian Spirit® is set to return for its fifth consecutive season in Australia and New Zealand from December 2027 through April 2028, underscoring NCL’s continued commitment to the region. With homeports in Sydney, Singapore and Auckland, the ship will offer a selection of itineraries ranging from eight to 21 days.

The season will also feature several notable firsts, including NCL’s debut call to Esperance on Jan. 12, 2028, and an overnight stay in Fremantle on Jan. 14, 2028, in Western Australia. Travellers can further immerse themselves in local culture with four overnight calls in Melbourne and another in Adelaide, offering extended time to explore these vibrant Australian cities.
