Scenic Group Appoints Ken Muskat as Managing Director, USA

Veteran cruise executive Ken Muskat will join Scenic Group as its new managing director for the USA market starting December 12. He will be responsible for the oversight and development of the U.S. market for both Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises with a key focus in the areas of sales, marketing, finance, revenue management and contact center.

“With the exciting growth of Scenic Group, the US Market is a key strategic market for our company’s success,” said Anna Wolfsteiner, global chief of sales and marketing for Scenic Group. “Ken’s experience and expertise in developing teams, forging strong relationships with the trade distribution, and building brand awareness will ensure we drive demand from our valued travel advisors and consumers for our ocean and river brands.”

With two new ocean yachts being delivered in 2023 (one each for Scenic Luxury Cruises and Emerald Cruises), Muskat’s top priorities will be to build demand through sales and marketing efforts and ensuring the line’s sales force and trade distribution network have the tools they need to market and sell.

Muskat has more than 25 years of cruise industry management experience having spent 18 years at Royal Caribbean and most recently serving as executive vice president and CEO for MSC Cruises (USA). He has also been involved at the industry level, serving two years as the chairman of CLIA’s Trade Relations Committee.

Advisors can reach out to Muskat at Ken.Muskat@Scenicusa.com.
