Tauck has unveiled its 2027 Small Ship Cruising collection, led by a brand-new Baltic Sea itinerary, refreshed guest-favourite programs in the Galápagos, and added capacity in the Aegean and Iberia.
In all, Tauck will offer 22 small ship cruises in 2027—including two Tauck Bridges itineraries designed for families and will open reservations in March.
The new Cruising the Baltic Sea itinerary explores Northern Europe’s storied Baltic region aboard Ponant’s Explorer-class vessel Le Champlain, accommodating an average of fewer than 160 guests per sailing.
The 12-day journey (from $12,990 USD per person, double occupancy, plus airfare) calls on Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Wismar, Gdańsk, Copenhagen and the island of Visby—destinations known for their layered history, rich cultural heritage and striking natural landscapes.
Responding to strong demand for Northern Europe and cooler-climate travel, the program marks Tauck’s return to the Baltic region, long prized for its diversity of cultures and less-travelled ports.
Highlights include a Tauck-exclusive private dinner at Stockholm’s iconic Vasa Museum, along with immersive shore excursions to Estonia’s Memorial to the Victims of Communism and Poland’s European Solidarity Centre. Guests will also explore UNESCO-listed old towns in Visby and Lübeck, with access to smaller ports—such as Lübeck—only reachable by intimate vessels.
Onboard, travellers benefit from dedicated enrichment programming led by a specialist lecturer, enhancing the cultural depth of each sailing.
“Our small ship cruises continue to resonate with guests because they combine distinctive itinerary design, meaningful cultural access and a level of care that removes the complexity from travel,” said Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh. “For 2027, we’re building on that foundation—introducing a long- anticipated new Baltic Sea itinerary while continuing to refine and enhance our most popular journeys.”
Tauck reports robust early bookings for the new Baltic itinerary, with departures already nearing sell-out status. The performance reflects continued momentum in the company’s small-ship portfolio and sustained appetite among affluent travellers—including Canadians—for curated, culturally rich cruising experiences as the operator looks ahead to 2028.
With the demand rising for popular Mediterranean itineraries, Tauck is expanding departures on two sought-after voyages that continually sell out.
The 14-day Aegean Voyage: Athens to Istanbul itinerary (from $13,490 USD per person, double occupancy, plus airfare), is extending its season and adding two more departures to the 2027 lineup running from April to October.
Highlights include guided visits to Istanbul’s historic mosques and bazaars, Ephesus, Santorini, Delphi and Athens, along with exclusive events such as an evening dinner in ancient Ephesus and scenic transits through the Corinth Canal.
Similarly, Tauck’s Treasures of Spain and Portugal continues to perform strongly in the Canadian market. The 13-day itinerary (from $10,490 USD per person, double occupancy, plus airfare) regularly sells out, prompting the addition of two new departures for 2027. Select sailings will now operate aboard Windstar Cruises’ all-suite yacht Star Legend.
The itinerary includes two-night stays at both the InterContinental Lisbon and Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, anchored by an eight-night cruise between Lisbon and Barcelona.
One of Tauck’s most sought-after journeys, Hidden Galapagos & Peru returns in 2027 with a series of enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience. Most notably, all on-tour flights within Ecuador will now operate as fully private charters, streamlining logistics and enhancing comfort.
Carrying an average of 200 or fewer guests, all Tauck journeys are fully inclusive, covering shore excursions (averaging 15 guests per local guide), gratuities, onboard beverages, transfers, lectures and more.
