ACTA to Offer Immersive Destination Experience at Sandals Dunns River Jamaica

ACTA has partnered with the Jamaica Tourist Board, Air Canada and Sandals Resorts to offer an Immersive Destination Experience to Sandals Dunns River Jamaica, from Saturday, August 23–Wednesday, August 27.

“The Jamaica Tourist Board is celebrating its 70th Anniversary in Canada this year and we cannot think of a better way to celebrate with them than to offer this ACTA Immersive Destination Experience in Jamaica,” said Wendy Paradis, ACTA President.

The event is in addition to the sold-out ACTA-Avalon Waterways Christmas Market River Cruise Summit taking place in November.

ACTA’s 2025 Destination Experiences were developed for Canadian travel advisors who are dedicated to growing their business and driving profitable growth. The organization says this experiential learning opportunity to Jamaica will enable participants to immerse themselves in new emerging experiences in the area while enjoying the destination’s culture and authenticity.

The agenda can be found here and the application is available here. The deadline to apply is May 16, 2025. The cost is $849.99, including return air from Toronto and single accommodation.

ACTA Destination Experiences are accredited under ACTA’s Continuing Education (CE) program. Travel advisors who attend the Destination Experience will be eligible to receive CE credits, which can be applied to obtaining or maintaining the professional designation of Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM).
