Jamaica to Host Weekly Webinars with Recovery Updates

by Bruce Parkinson  November 26, 2025
Jamaica to Host Weekly Webinars with Recovery Updates

Jamaica will host weekly webinars to keep you informed on recovery from Hurricane Melissa.

Destination Jamaica has announced the launch of Irie Hour ‘Road to Recovery’ — a weekly event designed specifically for Canadian Travel Advisors to gather updates on the tourism sector in Jamaica, following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.

Each week, the event will feature guest presentations from leading resort and attraction suppliers, providing attendees with the latest information on the destination’s offerings.

The featured guests for the first session will include representatives from S Hotel Montego Bay, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, and Rose Hall Montego Bay, who will share vital updates on their properties.

Jamaica says the best way to help is to visit.

These sessions will give Canadian Travel Advisors a comprehensive overview of the destination, including:

  • Properties and attractions currently open.
  • Projected opening dates for others.
  • Key updates to enhance your knowledge and support client bookings.

Event Details:

Date: Weekly on Tuesdays, beginning Dec 2

Time: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM EST

Location: Online via Zoom

Registration: Travel Advisors can register to attend on Destination Jamaica’s trade website The Maple Leaf Room.
