Tremblant Announces Timber Summit, a New Ski Area for 2027-2028

by Bruce Parkinson  September 02, 2026
Tremblant Announces Timber Summit, a New Ski Area for 2027-2028

It’s official: Club Med is coming to Tremblant.

Tremblant has announced the Timber Summit project, a major milestone in the popular Quebec ski destination’s continued evolution.

With an investment of $42.5 million, Tremblant says it is pursuing its development to further enhance the mountain experience for its visitors.

Starting in winter 2026–2027, a new learning area will open on the Versant Soleil, followed by the opening of the new Timber ski area in winter 2027–2028, featuring eight new trails and a high-speed lift.

“This announcement represents much more than an expansion of our ski terrain,” Tremblant says in a press statement.

“The Timber project is part of a long-term vision to support the growth of the Versant Soleil. By supporting the development of this strategic area, particularly with the confirmed presence of Club Med Tremblant, this project will help strengthen the appeal of our destination and create even more opportunities for visitors to fully enjoy the mountain.”

Scheduled to open in December 2028, Club Med Tremblant will be the all-inclusive pioneer’s second resort in Canada, both of them in Quebec. It promises to offer a modern, upscale, all-inclusive mountain experience, inspired by the contemporary design of Alpine chalets.

The company says it will “blend playful charm with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly in harmony with the unique spirit of Club Med villages and Tremblant’s architecture.”

More details on the Timber Summit development can be found on the project’s new webpage, in the blog post, as well as in the presentation video.
