Club Med in Talks to Build Resort in Tremblant

Club Med is looking to build a property at Mont Tremblant.
The opening of Club Med Québec-Charlevoix in 2021 generated a lot of buzz. It was the very first all-inclusive resort in Quebec, as well as the first Club Med in Quebec.
Today, the hotel group is reportedly in discussions with Mont Tremblant Resort and the Brivia Group regarding the development of a new Club Med on Tremblant’s Versant Soleil — a project that, in our opinion, makes a lot of sense.
Considering that Club Med Charlevoix is a mountain resort focused on skiing, opening a property at Tremblant, the most popular ski resort in Quebec, seems like a logical next step.
If it opens as planned, this vacation village, which would aim for eco-responsible certification, would deliver a high-end offering of approximately 300 rooms. It would be located on a portion of the L’Hymne-des-Trembles site, on Versant Soleil.

The project would represent a significant lever for economic development for the region, creating nearly 300 direct jobs and at least as many indirect ones.
Half of the employees would be housed on-site, within the holiday village itself. The Club Med project would also encourage the integration of local stakeholders through partnerships around excursion activities, services, and the sourcing of local products. It would also promote the harmonious integration of Club Med staff, both corporately and civically, into the local community.
The project remains conditional on several milestones, including securing financing — some investors and financial institutions have already expressed interest — as well as obtaining a building permissions. If these conditions are met, work could begin in the summer of 2026, with an opening planned for December 2028.
