TMP Montreal Names Michele Rauzon as Ambassador for Its Inaugural Edition

TMP Montreal Names Michele Rauzon as Ambassador for Its Inaugural Edition

TMP is pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Rauzon as our Ambassador for the inaugural Travel Market Place Montreal.

For this important role, we were looking for the ideal person. Someone with a long career in travel, deeply rooted in the industry, with a passion which is tough to match. Michele was at the very top of our list.

Recognized for her experience and influence, Michele Rauzon will bring invaluable value to TMP Montreal. Her presence reflects not only the excellence and credibility of the event, but also its strong ties to the close-knit travel community.

“I was absolutely delighted and honored to receive a call from the Travel Market Report team asking me to be their official ambassador for the very first Travel Market Place event in Quebec. I really look forward to seeing everyone on May 11 in Montreal,” says Michele.

At 75, Michelle still enjoys kayaking

With an impressive career, Michele Rauzon began in the travel industry with Treasure Tours in 1979. She later held the position of Sales Director for Quebec and the Maritimes at Paquet Cruises, where she developed deep expertise in the cruise sector. “That’s where I learned so much about the world of cruising and literally fell in love with it, regardless of the type of cruise,” she explains.

She also spent 16 years at Alio Tours. “As Vice President of National Sales, I had the great pleasure of building strong relationships with excellent travel agents and suppliers across Canada—relationships I still maintain today,” she adds.

Since then, she has chosen to start her own consulting business: JUST ASK MICHELE for English Canada and LES SERVICES MICHELE RAUZON for Quebec. Because retirement is not for her!

To celebrate the official arrival of TMP in Montreal, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in the morning to kick off the day. Michelle will then be present throughout the day to network with travel advisors and take part in the event.

We would also like to remind agents that the official TMP Montreal program is online with full details of the event on May 11th and available here:

And that tickets are available here:

TMP Toronto 2025

The TMP Montreal conference will be presented in French and has been designed specifically for Quebec’s community of travel advisors. It will welcome up to 250 French-speaking travel advisors and 40 travel suppliers for a full day of learning and engagement.

The new edition of TMR brings the number of professional travel conferences to five, including Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary, as well as the invitation-only Travel Market Place Leadership Exchange (TMPLE), which takes place every January.

While there is still much to be revealed, advisors can expect the same high-quality content that has made TMP the most popular travel trade conference in Canada.

The event will begin with a complimentary breakfast offered by Transat, the main sponsor of TMP Montreal, to start the day off right and allow everyone to network before a full day of training, learning, meetings, and networking.

The choice of the Bonaventure Hotel for the first edition of TMP Montreal was strategic. It needed to be a venue that matched our ambitions while also being highly convenient for participants. The hotel is directly connected to Montreal’s Central Station, making it easy for advisors from across Quebec to attend. Accommodation packages are still available, as well as day passes.

This one-day experience will bring together travel advisors, suppliers, and industry leaders to foster learning and collaboration through informative sessions, conferences, networking opportunities, and a trade show. It is the first time an event of this kind has taken place in Montreal, organized by a specialized travel publication, and entirely in French.
