Hyatt’s Roadshow Shows Commitment to Travel Advisors

Over 90 travel advisors met on Monday at The Park Hyatt Toronto, the brand’s main location, to meet with Hyatt representatives from their Park Hyatt, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, Hyatt Unbound, and Impressions luxury brands.

“2024 was a record year for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and the winter of 2025 is showing even stronger performance compared to the previous year, likely driven by our especially cold and snowy winter,” Canada, Carolina Bellina, Senior Director of Sales, told Travel Market Report Canada at the event.

“We always have new things happening and are excited as we have the new Hyatt Vivid opening later this year in the Dominican Republic as well as Secrets in Aruba and Saint Lucia and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Punta Cana.”

Carolina Bettina, Senior Director of Sales, Hyatt Inclusive Collection.

Following the brand’s debut in 2024 in Cancun, Mexico, Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana will be the second Vivid resort designed for all-inclusive travellers.

That’s just one example of what’s happening in 2025 wtih Hyatt. With more than 30 brands in its portfolio, Karen Nakai, Global Sales Director, Hyatt Sales Force; Luxury, Lifestyle & Leisure says the importance of these roadshows cannot be stressed enough as they are key to working together with advisors.

“These road shows are all about relationship building, about that working with and partnering with advisors, to show how we can work better with them. We know that they bring us that business and are a big part of the travel world. They are selling travel and we rely on them to really partner with to get the right clients.”

“We want to make sure advisors understand our brands so they can better place their clients in our portfolio. We can work with the luxury advisor on a majority of our brands, but how can we help them grow their portfolio?”

Part of that system to help luxury advisors benefit best from Hyatt is the invite-only advisor program called Prive, a collective of travel advisors who work in concert with participating Hyatt hotels and resorts to deliver extraordinary travel experiences to their premium clientele.

Members receive access to exclusive special offers, unique local recommendations, and insider tips to elevate travel curation. Guests booking through their Privé member travel advisor can enjoy exclusive benefits, such as property credits, complimentary breakfast, and room upgrades with qualifying stays.

“It’s an invitation only program, both for a travel agency as well as our hotels,” said Global Program Director, Hyatt Privé. “It’s something that hold high standards in our properties on our side, but then on a agency side, we look at the agency’s portfolio of their business and how that complements the hotels in our preferred partner program.”

“Our commitment to advisors in general, which we’ve had for so long with our Travel Advisor community, is that we truly want to partner,” adds Nakai. “When we look at like anything we do on a promotional level that goes out to a customer, we always include to contact your Travel Advisor. And that’s a big part of what myself, Molly, and our global sales team, on our luxury lifestyle leisure team, focus on. We work with our travel advisor community, and we respect our travel advisors and we know the value of them.”
