Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s Brian Joseph Leads TTAND Agent Tours on Aruba and Curaçao

Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s Brian Joseph Leads TTAND Agent Tours on Aruba and Curaçao

Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s Brian Joseph leads a tour of TTAND agents to three properties on Curaçao.

Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s newly promoted Senior Director of Sales, Canada, Brian Joseph, took advantage of The Travel Agent Next Door’s conference aboard Celebrity Silhouette to introduce select advisors to properties on Aruba and Curaçao.

On Curacao, Joseph led 50 TTAND agents on an inspection of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s three properties there — the Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino featuring the new adults-only Il Mare section, and the Zoëtry Curaçao Resort & Spa.

From budget-conscious and family-friendly to adults-only and boutique luxury, Hyatt offers something for a wide range of clients on one of the Caribbean’s lesser-known islands.

The tour started at Sunscape, praised by Joseph for a prime location, excellent food and service and a great beach. TTAND agents enjoyed lunch there “and raved about how amazing it was,” Joseph said. “Sunscape Curaçao has a lot to offer for budget-minded family travellers, and it’s just a few minutes from downtown,” he added.

With three resorts on Curaçao and the new Secrets Baby Beach on Aruba, Hyatt has something for a range of Canadian travellers.

The tour moved on to a complex about 20 minutes from downtown Willemstad and the airport, featuring the family-friendly Dreams Curaçao and its new Preferred Club Adult section Il Mare.

The intimate, 72-suite luxury boutique Zoëtry property is there too, set in behind Dreams. Focused on wellness and poised among lush tropical gardens, Zoëtry also offers its guests full access to Dreams Curaçao.

Guests in the unique, pod-style, free-standing suites at Il Mare enjoy a new pool, wider beach area. They have access to the facilities at both Zoëtry and Dreams. Joseph says sunsets there are a property highlight.

Joseph says advisors should encourage their travellers to have a good look around the beautiful island of Curaçao, whether on excursions or with a rental car.

“The real charm of this island is off the resorts,” he said. “The water is incredibly clear, the beaches are beautiful and Willemstad is a charming place to explore, clean and safe with wonderful street art and a fascinating history.”

On the next day, Celebrity Silhouette moved on to Aruba, where Joseph took 60 advisors to the adults-only Secrets Baby Beach Aruba, open for less than a year.

This is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located in the southern part of the island about 30 minutes from the airport. The property boasts 304 suites, six restaurants, multiple pools, and a soothing spa. It features modern, nature-inspired design with private plunge pools in ground-level rooms.

Despite the late April date, Secrets Baby Beach Aruba was running at 90% occupancy during the TTAND agent visit. “There’s been strong support for this property from Canadian advisors,” Joseph said. There’s more to come as well, with Phase 2 and Phase 3 projects to add more rooms in buildings flanking the existing facility.

The protected public beach at Secrets Baby Beach is known as one of the best in the world, with calm, strikingly blue water. “Secrets Baby Beach is away from the hustle and bustle, and it’s a beautiful property with great amenities and exclusive areas,” Joseph said.
