Canadian advisors who missed the Sandals and Beaches 2024 training sessions are in luck: Unique Vacations Canada Inc., which handles the sales and marketing for the resort brands, has added a final Sandals Masterclass due to popular demand.

The two-hour live session, hosted virtually, will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 1:00 p.m. EST.

“We’ve conducted 16 energetic Masterclass sessions between May and September of this year, but still Canadian advisors were asking for one more in advance of the upcoming winter season,” says Maureen Barnes-Smith, vice president, sales & marketing Canada, Unique Vacations Canada.  “We’re always happy to oblige and help equip them with key strategies designed to drive growth in their Sandals and Beaches business.”

National Training Manager Lorna Richards will lead the Sandals training session, which will focus on sales and marketing tactics as well as product updates. Topics include: Turning one Sandals booking into multiple over a client’s lifetime; using niche markets like weddings and groups for growth, and maximizing seasonal direct flights from across Canada to the Caribbean.

By participating in a Sandals Masterclass, Canadian advisors will earn the educational component required to acquire or maintain Certified Sandals Specialist status. Additionally, advisors will earn four ACTA credits towards their Certified Travel Counsellor or Certified Travel Manager accreditation.
